Homemade Wrinkle Cream Remedies
I’ve heard, read about and actually tried many homemade wrinkle creams over the years. There are some things you can use right out of your kitchen cupboard or your refrigerator that can do some pretty great things for your skin believe it or not. Some of the stuff is old wives tales, but others actually do help. Nothing really compares to a top quality Anti Wrinkle Cream that was designed specifically for the purpose of reducing the appearance of wrinkles, but I still use a few of these old remedies along with my anti-aging cream.
One of those things you probably have in the cupboard right now is olive oil. I know it sounds a little disgusting to imagine this, but if you dab your fingers in a little bit of olive oil and massage it gently into your face every day it actually works pretty well as a cure for wrinkles.
Carrots have a lot of beta carotene in them and if you drink a small glass of carrot juice every day you could start seeing a reduction in wrinkles within a couple of weeks. I personally do not like carrots and have never tried this one but it may be worth a try. This is not really a Homemade Wrinkle Cream, more of a Wrinkle Juice I guess.
Carrots are not the only thing that helps, even green vegetables and fruits can pack a real punch to help reduce the affects of aging skin. Try to eat fruits and vegetables every day and not only will your skin thank you for it, so will your whole body. I like to make a green smoothie for breakfast every morning, and even though I don’t like carrots I can sneak one in with a smoothie made of fresh fruits and vegetables. This is not really a Homemade Wrinkle Cream either, so we’ll call it a wrinkle smoothie!
Cucumber Homemade Wrinkle Cream
We’ve all seen it on TV or in fancy salons where they put cucumber slices over your eyes. Can cucumbers really act like a Homemade Wrinkle Cream? Believe it or not, cucumbers do actually work to puff up around your eyes and cover up those fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes, and it does pretty well for dark circles too. Just cut a few slices, lay down on your back and place them over your eyes for about fifteen minutes. Might as well throw the rest of the cucumber in with that smoothie while your at it, more green veggies = less wrinkles and better overall health after all.
Forget about Homemade Wrinkle Creams for a minute… One of the most important things you can do for you skin is to maintain proper hydration by drinking pleanty of water every day. When you get dehydrated the natural reaction of your skin is to wrinkle just like a dehydrated grape becomes a wrinkled up raisin.
Homemade Wrinkle Cream Exfoliant
I also recommend exfoliating your skin on a regular basis using either a quality exfoliant of some baking soda as a Homemade Wrinkle Cream. If you use baking soda just wet your finger tips and dab them into a bit of baking soda and massage it into your skin. This can literally buff out fine lines and wrinkles like you wouldn’t believe.
I almost always follow up an exfoliating scrub with some LifeCell wrinkle cream. Lifecell is a bit expensive but I have found I can make it stretch a really long ways by using the olive oil, drinking the smoothies and doing the baking soda scrub on a regular basis.
These are some great tips for maximizing your expensive anti wrinkle cream and adding a little bit of mother nature back into your life at the same time.
I highly recommend using LifeCell Cream along with any home remedy, it has really made a huge impact on my skin.
